Have you ever wondered how we put together new eyewear collections season after season? Where do we get ideas from? How do we decide on the appearance of the frame? How do we ensure a perfect fit? Here we reveal how we create our new eyewear designs for you.

One thing is certain: the development of attractive, cutting-edge eyewear requires the full cooperation and talent of both designers and product management teams. It is their expertise, creativity, passion, and love that makes it possible to create world-class eyewear products.

STEP 1 – INSPIRATION IS EVERYWHERE

In this stimulating first phase, mood boards are formed. These visual collages depict upcoming design trends and use the latest fashion world predictions to identify hot trends in shape, color, themes, and concepts. However, fashion is not the only inspiration. Just walking around with an open mind leads to discoveries from which new ideas can be drawn. Whether it’s architecture, art, certain color combinations or simply nature, it’s all food for our creative appetites. Presenting all these thought-provoking ideas and new trends begins a passionate brainstorming session. The most popular highlights of this discussion form the basis for our new creations.

STEP 2 – THE ART OF DESIGN

Our designers put the first concepts on paper. Ideas are exchanged and discussed, decorative elements are worked out and everyone involved decides on color nuances and combinations. The resulting product design drawings, which in addition to appearance also include information on materials and frame dimensions, are again carefully scrutinized by the entire team. The drawings that everyone is excited about are sent to our factories where experienced engineers check the feasibility of the design before prototyping.

If you are from Milton, Lenzique Optical is the perfect location for eyeglass designers in Milton. You can also get different kinds of monthly contact lenses and eye exams at reasonable prices.

STEP 3 – PERFECTION OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

Prototyping requires real craftsmanship. At this stage, since there are no molds available, each prototype must be made by hand, which requires great expertise and attention to detail. During this process, the number of necessary steps and the complexity of the final product are determined.

STEP 4 – STRICT TECHNICAL CONTROL

Once the prototypes are ready, each one must pass rigorous technical tests. Our technical specialists check, among other things, the strength, stability, and density of individual frame components. Quality is of the utmost importance to us and this inspection step is one of many to ensure that new eyeglass frames meet our high-quality standards.

STEP 5 – QUALIFYING FOR COMPLETION

Once the frame prototypes land on the product team’s desk, they are reviewed for their look, feel and fit. Only the best frames are accepted into the next round of fine-tuning, where the latest changes are discussed and determined. Production samples are now completed with great passion and attention to detail, and the molds are in turn produced using extensive manual know-how.

STEP 6 – THE BEST MOMENT: THE FINISHED PRODUCT TO TOUCH

After the final technical tests, the necessary fine-tuning, and various analyses, the production wheels are set in motion. The team is eagerly awaiting the first finished samples.

These samples are tested according to CE directives before being put on the market. At CHARMANT, in addition to CE tests, we also carry out our own quality tests to ensure the high quality of our spectacle frames.

The moment is finally here! Designers and product managers describe it as “THE” moment to see and handle finished frame samples on the table in front of them. This is a great highlight for everyone involved and a reward for what they have created together as a team.
