People walk for five days to get to Mecca, which is in Saudi Arabia and is the holiest place in Islam. 1. On the first day of the Hajj, pilgrims put on the Ihram in Mecca and go to Mina, a village about 10 kilometres outside of the city. This makes them holy. The next day, the pilgrims go back to Jamaraat Bridge to finish stoning the devil. Pilgrims once again spend the night in Mina.
5. On the fifth day of Hajj
On this day, there is another ritual of throwing stones at demons, and pilgrims return to Mecca before nightfall.
6. The sixth day of the Hajj
On the last day before leaving Mecca for home, pilgrims do Tawaf Wida, which is a last walk around the Holy Kaaba.
