How to change your Registered Mobile Number on TATA Play

TATA Play is one of the leading OTT platforms, making entertainment convenient for users. After signing up for TATA Play, many subscribers struggle to change their existing mobile number, in case they lose the number or plan to change to a new number. 

Updating your Registered Mobile Number (RMN) in Tata Play is quite an easy process. You neither need to visit the TATA Play store nor wait a few days to make changes. Within a few seconds, subscribers can change their mobile numbers via different modes. Let’s discuss them one by one.  

How to change Registered Mobile Number on TATA Play via desktop:

1. Visit official online OTT platform – tataplay.com
2. Click “Manage Your Account”
3. The next screen will display two options: Enter the Registered Mobile Number or Create a New Registration. Enter your old Registered mobile number in the given field and click “Continue”.
4. One Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number, which you need to input in the field and click “Continue”.
5. Once you log in to your TATA Play portal, click on the right corner of the page. 
6. Tap on “My Account” which will list various options.
7. Click on “Personal Details”. It will take you to the page view so that you can update information.
8. Click the ‘Edit” button displayed at the bottom of the page
9. You can see a field of “Registered Mobile Number”. Remove your old mobile number and update the new one. 
10. After making changes, click on the “Save” button.
11. One dialogue box will appear stating your request has been accepted and will be processed soon.

That’s it. You can continue your transactions on your new mobile number.

1. Open the TATA Play binge app on your smartphone and install the TATA Play app if you have not.
