The internship is one of the important steps to be able to get started in the professional field. The internship makes it possible to relate theories to reality, we rather speak of practice. A necessary step after the impregnation internship is the writing of the internship report. So how to write an internship report ?

Establish the summary

The term summary comes from the Latin word summarium, meaning "abstract, abbreviation", derived from summa. Therefore, in your internship report, there is a short table of contents. An attentive reader of the summary should be able to understand at a glance what the sections and subsections of your content are. A clear summary of the internship report follows a strict logic, and you will also put it in the right place for your further reading. In fact, all sections and subsections must be finalized and the title must be selected first before proceeding with the abstract. As choosing a title is not easy, wait until you have written everything before making your choice. Regarding the format of an internship report summary, some argue that it must allow readers to easily move from one chapter to another of your work, and must therefore include pagination. However, it is generally considered that unlike a table of contents, a table of contents does not include page numbers. This is another point to check with the pedagogical team before starting to write. The titles mentioned in the summary must be consistent; also, it seems logical that the title in the summary should be the same as the title in the main body and be in the same form. Not only in terms of style, but also in terms of grammar, oral or nominal, the choice of all headings must remain the same. In addition, the summary of your internship report must fit on a single page.

Presentation of the content of the internship report

The report must be complete and the requirements are the same as those for the dissertation. The style should be sober, precise and neutral, and reflect a focus on objectivity through the use of an impersonal style. In general, a maximum of 6 pages should suffice to effectively inform the reader. But before, after reading the subject and analyzing the files provided, it will be a question of writing a plan and building a copy of it. First, the introduction will be short, about fifteen lines, intended to clearly present the subject and to announce the plans and divisions related to the layout of the sections and subsections. Note that this is not an answer to this thread. This is a very important element of your report because it is the first contact with your readers, and they should be immediately interested and understand the subject without having to read it again. Then, the development should go through the headings of sections and subsections so that your logic and reasoning are immediately understandable. After the introduction, the proofreader will first focus on the title and subtitle, so they are important. In order to make each heading very clear, there must be real thought and writing. Your development should consist of two parts and two sub-parts, and the volume of each part should be balanced. If you think it's necessary, you can do up to three sections if your reasoning logic warrants it. But reviewers are usually still committed to binary development. Of course, your plan must be built, and there must be a logical progression that will reveal your reasoning and your understanding of the documents presented. Finally, the conclusion will be short, up to 10 lines, and can stick to basic development-related information. Also be careful here not to add any missing information that you might have forgotten in the previous step. However, you can open the subject and make up your mind or reserve it.
