The club offers members world-class facilities and services. Members enjoy golf, tennis, squash, swimming and paddle tennis.

HVCC is one of the many strong William Flynn courses in the Philadelphia area (along with Manufacturers, Rolling Green, and Philly CC). This is a great course that makes good use of the land with a stern test requiring all aspects of your game. Here are some of the features of Huntingdon valley country club.

The History of the Club

HVCC has a proud history in Montgomery County and is considered to be one of the best golf courses in Philadelphia. Just recently, a friend of The Fried Egg Jon Cavalier, who had not visited in ten years, pulled into the parking lot and gasped, “What a course!”

The Club was organized in 1897, with nine holes north of Jenkintown. The Club moved to its present location in the mid 1920’s due to interference of automobile traffic on Susquehanna and Valley Roads, which had previously crossed six of the golf course holes.

In 1928 a classically designed stone clubhouse was built. The three dining rooms, multiple terraces and handsome guest accommodations were opened to rave reviews on Easter Sunday, 1928.

The GM will function in COO-like fashion, working very closely with the Board of Directors and leading a broad group of active Committees. The GM will also be responsible for a host of Club events and activities, including member recruitment, retention, staff training and development, SOPs, financial management and the overall member experience. He/she will do this in clear "partnership" with the Board and keeping them actively abreast of results and transparency at all times.

The Golf Course

The golf course at Huntingdon Valley Country Club is one of the premier courses in the Philadelphia area. The William Flynn designed course plays out of a thin valley with the outward nine holes playing at much higher elevations than the inward nine holes. This makes for a very interesting variety of holes that require a great mix of shots to score well. The layout also creates a fantastic sense of tranquility among the trees and Terwood Run.

There is no shortage of challenging holes at Huntingdon Valley Country Club and the course is a test for even the most experienced players. The course opens with a 380 yard downhill par 4 and continues to challenge the golfer with a great mix of holes that use different combinations of lie, direction and elevation.

This is a great choice for a wedding venue in the Philly area for anyone who loves to play golf and appreciates a beautiful location with exceptional customer service. The team here is committed to ensuring your event is a resounding success from start to finish.

The Clubhouse

The clubhouse is the centerpiece of Huntingdon Valley Country Club and provides members with world-class facilities and services. The club hosts a range of social and cultural events throughout the year to connect its members and offer a variety of ways for them to enjoy their time at the club.

The golf course, designed by William Flynn, is a challenging and enjoyable test for any level of player. It plays around a large bowl and features a great mix of holes that utilize the terrain to test your skill with a variety of lies, direction and elevation changes.

The Get-Ready Suites

With a spacious living area, separate bedrooms and bathrooms, and plenty of amenities, the Get-Ready Suites offer you and your future spouse the opportunity to dress in privacy before coming together in a common space for photos. This is an ideal approach for couples who wish to keep their intimacy intact from start to finish.

Hayley and Anthony had a beautiful fall wedding on the property this September. They began the day getting ready in the stunning bridal suite and then made their way out to take some portraits around the club.

Non-Members must be "Sponsored" by a Club Member and are required to adhere to the club's Guest Policy. Dress code is typically golf attire or casual attire for both men and women. Denim, T-shirts and athletic wear are not permitted.

This year, HVCC will host the 123rd BMW Philadelphia Amateur Championship. The tournament will begin with a 36-hole stroke play qualifier on June 13 and 14 at Huntingdon Valley and Lookaway Golf Club (qualifying site only). The semifinals and quarterfinals will be played on June 17 and the final on Father’s Day weekend. The winner of the Amateur will receive the J.
