Introduction to the Production Process of Flag Banner Fabric

There are a few factors that determine the quality of a flag. These include the material that it is made of, the design, and the printing process.

Fabric banners are a great way to display your business logo, brand name or mascot. They can be printed in full color with high resolution graphics and text.

Fabrics

The production process of Flag Banner Fabric begins with choosing the material. Each fabric type offers a different performance and suitability to specific environments.

Cotton, nylon, and poly are the most common materials used for outdoor flags today. Each material is durable, flies well, and resists mildew and sun damage.

However, despite the durability of nylon and polyester, many people still prefer cotton because of its natural beauty and softness. It also displays rich true colors.

Besides the durability of the materials, there are several other factors to consider when choosing the right material for your custom flag.

First, consider the conditions you plan on using your flag fabric for and how you intend to display it. For example, if you want it to be displayed indoors or in traditional ceremonies, then cotton might be the best choice.

Designing

Printed flags are designed to flutter in the wind and attract the attention of passers-by. They can be a great way to communicate your message and promote your business.

Creating an eye-catching design should be the first priority. Make sure you use a high resolution digital file that is at least 150dpi at its actual size.

The artwork for your bespoke banner should be in CMYK colour mode, as this matches the dye-sublimation print process used to produce them. Text, logos, shapes and photographs can all be used in your design.

Depending on your needs you can also choose from a number of finishing options, including hems and grommets. You can even have pole pockets added to the back of your banner – simply add 3” extra material on one side to create the pocket.

Printing

The printing process of a flag is very important because it determines how it looks and how long it will last. It can also be used to communicate important messages in a unique way.

There are several different ways to print a flag:

Screen Printed Fabric Banners

This method is a traditional printing technique that uses pigment inks to create a design on the fabric. It is best for designs that feature only a few colors and can be a great choice for large custom flag orders.

Dye Disperse Printing

The dye disperse printing process is a long-established printing method that allows images in Flag Banner Fabric to be printed directly onto the fabric, rather than on the surface of the cloth. It offers a higher quality and more durable image than screen printing, but it can be more expensive.

The dye disperse printing process is ideal for one-sided flags because it can produce 70-100% print-through. It can also be used to print on a double-sided fabric that will have a reverse bleed-through image, which is important for outdoor flags that will be seen both sides.

Assembly

A banner is a piece of cloth bearing a symbol, logo, slogan or another message. It can be a single-sided or double-sided design, and it is used for advertising purposes.

Feather flags are a popular form of advertising banners, and they are a great way to catch the eye of passersby. They are available in a variety of sizes and come with all the components you need to put them up quickly and easily.

To assemble your feather flag, first unpack all of the poles and lay them down flat on a work surface. Then, piece together the poles in the order of thickest to skinniest.

The skinny poles should go in the smallest pole pocket on the Tableflag and Table Banner Fabric first and then the thicker ones should go into the largest pocket. This will help the fabric banner hold its shape and prevent it from stretching or tearing.

Once the pole is inserted into the banner, the flag will need to be secured to the support pole by using the included tension cord.
