Wow, very powerful beard trimmer, and not too large but not too small! Since I'm retired and don't go out that often I let my beard grow usually for 3 or 4 weeks; then I shave it off for a clean-cut trip into town. But when I use my razor blade to shave it just gets clogged up with all the long growth.

 So I developed a technique whereby I cut the majority of my beard with an electric razor, then obtain a clean shave with a razor blade. I have been looking for an electric razor with the power to accomplish this and also be of the right size--not too large and bulky, but not small, delicate and difficult to hold. This trimmer is exactly what I've been looking for! Just the right size, and I had a good month's growth when it arrived. The Hedger took it off with very little effort, and I almost didn't even need the razor blade with the adjustable wheel set at the closest shave position! And I'm certain I will enjoy the versatility of being able to adjust the wheel to the perfect length if/when I decide to leave some beard length in the future.
