Mastering Your Firestick: How to Turn Off and Activate Sleep Mode

As an Australian IPTV user, my Firestick is my gateway to an incredible array of streaming content, but even in the land down under, we're conscious about conserving energy. Let me take you through the steps I follow to turn off my Firestick.

When it's time to shut everything down, I press and hold the microphone button on my remote and command Alexa, "Turn off Fire TV." It's a seamless process that puts my device into sleep mode. This way, I can jump right back into my shows when I'm ready, without the slow start-up.

For a complete shutdown, I unplug it, ensuring it consumes no power.
