Minecraft Map has never Looked Worse than it does At IKEA

2 min read

The Minecraft map, and all its wonderment and wackiness, often seem to seep into the real world. Take these stunning modular Minecraft Redstone toys, for example, or even this amazing piston made from LEGO. It's not surprising, considering the size of the sandbox and all the skins, mods and more. Mojang's popular building games has spread to new, somehwat regrettable levels. Because of an "version" of the game by Mojang, IKEA now offers the game.

As most of you are aware, IKEA is a bit like the real-world Minecraft in the end. You must enter and explore dungeons with classic Minecraft mobs like skeletons and zombies with the goal of trying to get the right kind of blocks, and then returning home and trying to put them all together in an order that not only makes sense but also looks good.

Redditor Irisihball192 shared a photo from an IKEA store which looks a lot like Minecraft than you think. It's possible to mistake it for Minecraft when it's run through Google Translate several times. There are many important components, but they're in odd spots or off-center. We're assuming they can't use official images due to copyright laws. Otherwise, they'd be using another's product to sell their own things.

This would also explain some other ones that people have encountered throughout the years, such as this image that shows The Pimps Call Your Mutti Say "Oops I'm sorry" and Grand-Ma's Auto. Kika 2020, Calling For Duty Secret Operation and Need For Street - Payback Time are also available. We'd definitely play all of them out given a chance, since who doesn't love a strange knockoff title?

If you're more interested in exploring actual Minecraft rather than IKEA then you should check out this guide on Minecraft's Ancient Cities. Just be wary of the Warden, who's the ultimate retail worker set free.
