Modding

To facilitate the process of modding the game and more enjoyable, we've made the decision to publish our game obfuscation maps with every future version of the game, starting today. This means that anyone interested in the game can decode it and find their way around the game without having to spend months trying to figure out what's going on. Keep calm and say ‘arrr’ We hope mod authors and mod framework writers use these files to supplement the updates they already have. These mappings will always accessible as part of any new version. This does not, however alter the existing limitations on what you can or may not do with our game's assets or code. The maps for obfuscation are contained in the version manifest in JSON and may be automatically pulled for any given version.
