Bryan Zaragoza has joined Bayern Munich.

"Zaragoza will join the club from Granada for the 2024-25 season," the Bavarians announced on their website on Saturday. He has signed a five-year contract with the club until June 30, 2029."

Speaking about Zaragoza, Munich's sporting director Christoph Proint said: "He is an explosive, very fast, very agile winger. He can play on either flank. He is unpredictable, but he can score. He is also good in one-on-one situations. He already made his debut for the Spanish senior national team this year. He has a lot of potential."

"Zaragoza is one of Spain's most promising players. He has been on our radar for a while. He can increase our attacking options. We wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season with Granada and look forward to him joining us in the summer."

Zaragoza is a former Granada youth player in the Spanish La Liga. He made his first senior appearance in the 2020-21 season when he went on loan to Spanish third division side El Ejidor. He scored his debut goal in the third round and has been a regular starter and substitute in the team ever since.

After a season away, he returned to Granada, where he played mostly in the B team. Zaragoza settled in as he started to score more and more goals. However, things were not going well for the team. Unable to overcome relegation and dropping to the second division, Granada promoted Zaragoza to the first team.

Zaragoza steadily climbed the roster and waited for his chance to play. Finally, in the 16th round, he came on as a substitute and scored his debut goal. In the second half of the season, Zaragoza solidified his position, especially towards the end of the season, when he scored in three consecutive games starting in round 40, helping his team win the title and gain promotion. His performance earned him a contract with the club until 2027.

Zaragoza's form has continued this season. After making his La Liga debut in the opening game against Atletico Madrid, he became the team's go-to guy, scoring whenever needed, including a multi-goal performance against Barcelona.

Recognizing Zaragoza's potential, Munich quickly snapped him up. The Bavarians are in urgent need of defensive reinforcements due to their thin backline. With Kim Min-jae and 스포츠토토 Mazrawi set to leave for the Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations respectively next January, the Bavarians have decided to prioritize the signing of their next promising attacker. Zaragoza will join the Bavarians next season after finishing the season with his original club Granada.
