Proving the Flat Earth Theory with Orbital Simulations (Satire)

3 min read

NASA has been lying to us for too long. Everyone knows that the Earth is flat. Do you notice the Earth's surface appears round when you look out? This absurdity is over. Using simulations, I will demonstrate that the Earth is not a sphere instead, it is a Minecraft superflat world.

We start with a simple simulation of the Sun and the Earth. To improve visibility the sizes aren't scaled.

It seems normal, right? You might think that this proves my theory wrong But just wait and look around. Let's add the other inner planets.

Everything is perfect, such nice and smooth Ellipse. Now we'll add the moon. Get ready.

Notice that the moon doesn't rotate around the Earth? It's actually not as fast, rotating like the normal earth.

Could it be that my model was flawed? Did I not take into account the motion of the Earth in the context of the moon's own orbit? Is this just me coming up with amazingly stupid explanations to offer to my physics teacher, justification for the apparent inaccuracy of my project? No. This is undeniable proof that something is up. However, the truth might be beyond what any of you poor, poor readers could even begin to imagine. Since I began drafting this essay, another thought has come to my mind. What do you think if the flat Earth theory is merely a ruse or a red herring designed to obscure the truth?

After a lot of study, I came to a conclusion. While the Earth and its moon are both round however, there is a dark secret the powers-that-be keep from us. The truth is, the moon is made of green cheese. Its surface is dotted with small craters. There is no plausible explanation for this unless one asserts that the Swiss and not the US of A were the first to reach the moon.

Don't forget that further simulations have disproved this theory. Additionally, the popularity of Swiss cheese in the US is a plausible explanation.

After hours of intense Minecraft gaming, I have come to a second conclusion. Remember our original claim that Earth was superflat? While orbital mechanics might negate that possibility I offer a different hypothesis, one incorporating the wisdom of the old with the modern science. Read on once you are confident that you have prepared yourself mentally and emotionally.

The Earth is hollow cube. It is a superflat, folded planet. What is the relationship between this and existing theories? The surface of the Earth remains flat in this scenario, and fits into most of the evidence flatties provide. However, this is also in line with the arguments against a flat Earth by using gravity, since there is enough distribution of mass to prevent extreme shifts. This is consistent with the simulation results, as hollow cubes would be much smaller and would not be capable of keeping the moon in orbit. For a mockup, please see below.
