OPPO is expected to present its first folding cell phone with a flip format soon, and images of this device have just been leaked. The content reveals some of the device's design features, both internally and externally.
The biggest differential of the model in relation to competitors should be on the outside of the device. A large rigid screen can serve for relatively advanced functions, in addition to the traditional time / date display and notifications - as is the case with Motorola 's recently released Razr 2022 .
According to what can be seen in the video, this panel will have a vertical orientation, unlike the solutions seen in models like the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Motorola Razr 2022. In addition, the display has enough dimensions to occupy almost the entire half top of the rear panel.
Some design details are hidden by a large protective cover, but it is still possible to visualize a system of at least two rear lenses, aligned vertically.
In the internal section, the flexible display has a centralized hole for positioning the selfie camera. Also, the hinge crease appears to be quite discreet, based on what is perceived by the video.
There is still a small difference in relation to the device's trade name, mentioned in the content as OPPO Find N2 Flip. Previous rumors mentioned a Find N Flip (without the “2”), but it is possible that the brand wants to synchronize the generations with the Find N2, its future foldable in fold format to compete with Galaxy Z Fold 4 .
OPPO Find N2 Flip: what to expect
The company has not yet confirmed Find N2 Flip specifications, but some possible technical details have already appeared in previous rumors. The model is expected to come with a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 processor, a component with advanced features that does not compete with Qualcomm's recently introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen
It was said that its internal screen should be a 6.8-inch Samsung OLED E6, with Full HD + resolution and support for refresh rates at 120 Hz. On the outside, the panel can be 3.26 inches.
Its set of cameras must have a main sensor of 50 MP, along with an ultrawide of 8 MP and a front of 32 MP. These components must be aided by the brand's own MariSilicon X chip, for more optimized image processing.
In addition, its battery can be 4,400 mAh, with support for recharges of up to 44 W via USB-C cable – making it the fastest charging flip device on the market.
OPPO has not yet confirmed the launch date of its new foldables, but it is likely that they will appear during INNO Day 2022 – the event is scheduled for December 14th.
