  1. Mumbai

Mumbai, also known as the City of Maya, is famous for being a film city as well as a tourist destination.  Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, is also known as the city of dreams.  Consisting of seven small islands, Mumbai is named after the Kuldevi of the Kol tribe, Mumbadevi, Mumba (mother’s name) + Ai (mother).Mumbai is famous for weddings nowadays, it follows the wedding trends and it is the best place for destination wedding in Maharashtra. Marine Drive, which is crowded with people throughout the year, being near the sea, tourists enjoy pleasant atmosphere and water, sports here.

It is a famous hill station situated in the Satara district.  It is also called the land of five rivers which means Gods of great power.  There are more than 30 beautiful places in Mahabaleshwar where you can enjoy the journey.  It is situated at an altitude of about 450 feet and is spread over an area of 150 square kilometres. In the summer season, the green meadows, charming waterfalls, natural pleasant environment of the forests take away all the tiredness of the tourists.  Five rivers Savitri, Gayatri, Koena, Veena and Krishna flow in Mahabaleshwar.
