Recreating Street Foods Like Sandwiches And Shwarmas With A Frozen Twist

Cooking is an art and when it comes to art, improvising and experimenting is something that is always appreciated. And when it comes to street food, who doesn’t love a burger right? So here are a few street foods that you can recreate using frozen foods.
1. Classic Chicken Burger
• Cook your frozen burger patties by baking or frying them until golden brown
• Grab your burger bun and slice them from the middle
• Apply burger sauce or mayonnaise or any other sauce that you prefer on both the side of the buns
• Place veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, etc. on the bottom bun
• Place your cooked pattie and cheese
• Top it off with the top bun
2. Chicken Hotdogs
• Depending on your preference you can use either chicken sausage or chicken seekh for your hotdog
• Cook your preferred meat by frying or baking them
• Prepare your hotdog bun by putting a cut in the centre but not cutting it through
• You can grill the cut side of your bun if you want
• Place the sausage or seekh in the centre of the bun
• Top it off with a little mustard and ketchup
3. Chicken Subs and Sandwiches
• Grill your bread for a nice crunchy texture
• Take your frozen chicken salami and cook it
• Place a generous amount of sauce on your breads
• You can add vegetables and cheese according to your preference
• Place your cooked salami on the bread and top it with the other slice
4. Falafel Wraps
• You can use farafel patties or chicken strips for the meat in your falafel
• Cook them through and place them in pita bread or flatbread
• You can use any sauce that you want to the bread
• Place sliced vegetables like cucumber, tomatoes and red onions
• You can add tahini sauce on top of it for a better taste
5. Shwarmas
• Grab your pita bread or paratha for the shwarma and grill or sauté it to have a nice grill
• Cook your chicken kebab or chicken seekh kabab to your liking
• Apply a generous amount of shwarma sauce to the paratha or pita bread
• Place your veggies on it
• Break your chicken kebab or seekh kabab to bite size pieces
• Place these pieces on the paratha and wrap it
Remember to use fresh veggies to compliment your foods and to provide a variety in texture and taste. Although guidelines are provided on how you can use frozen foods to create amazing and delicious fast foods, you can always customize them to your taste. Using frozen alternatives to your patties or other meats is a faster and mess-free way to create you favourite foods. Remember you can always experiment and explore new things with your food.
