Adidas has unveiled new uniforms for the Michigan men’s basketball team. These new adizero jerseys are said to be lighter and more breathable.

Michael Jordan

While Michigan football has been struggling to get back into the upper echelon of college football, new coach Jim Harbaugh has been able to build energy and momentum within his program. The Wolverines have a strong fan base, which can help push them through the tough times.

One of the best ways to keep the Michigan fan base going is by supporting the team on the field with some great gear. From Custom Michigan Basketball Jersey Uniforms to Michigan Football Jerseys, the Michigan Store has a huge selection of sports apparel for every fan!

For example, Michigan fans can show off their loyalty to the university with a Nike Jordan-themed jersey. In fact, the Jumpman logo is on all of the Wolverines’ new football uniforms this season.

The team’s traditional home uniforms aren’t that different than they were a year ago, except for the addition of the Jumpman logo on the left chest and throughout the entire design. This is the first time that Nike’s Jordan brand has designed uniforms for a college football team, and it’s a smart move.

Adding the Jordan logo to the Michigan football team’s uniforms could boost the Wolverines’ recruiting ranking and potentially help them beat out blue-chip programs such as Ohio State and Alabama. The combination of Jordan, Harbaugh and the team’s high-profile wins will be tough for other teams to compete with on the recruiting trail.

Another reason that Michael Jordan’s name is recognizable to most Michigan fans is because of his famous jersey number, 23. This number has been worn by a variety of NBA players including LeBron James, who says it was his inspiration to wear it.

Whether you are looking for a replica or custom jersey, we have all the styles of NBA basketball gear you need. Featuring the NBA’s top stars, these jerseys are made from the same fabric used by professionals and feature authentic stitching and an updated look. You can also find a range of throwback-style jerseys from the 1970s and 1980s. These jerseys are a must-have for any fan of the game!

LeBron James

When it comes to rivalry games, nothing evokes the past like a throwback. That's why Michigan will wear a modernized version of its 1988-89 national championship jerseys when the Wolverines host rival Michigan State on February 24.

It's a look that has been worn by many teams throughout the years, but Michigan's updated version takes it to the next level. Its maize jerseys and shorts feature blue lettering and an oversized block 'M,' plus white numbers with blue trim.

The team also will sport a cannonball helmet, which was a staple for the Fab Five when they played at Michigan. It's a look that fans will definitely want to see when they head to the Big House for the Michigan-Ohio State game this weekend.

In addition to the throwback look, the Wolverines will be sporting some new Nike basketball gear, too. The Jordan-sponsored team will be wearing LeBron James-inspired cleats that have the same logo as his first pair of Zoom Generation 1 sneakers.

Those shoes, which are also available for the men's basketball team, come in red with overlapping black and red swooshes on the outsides and a black swoosh on the inside. There are also black LFC crests on the back of the shoes and gold "XX" ornaments on the laces.

As a kid growing up in the '90s, LeBron James had an ear for hip-hop music. He picked up on the rap pulse of the Fab Five and would regularly listen to EPMD or Naughty by Nature's "Hip Hop Hooray" while in the locker room.

Today, that rap sound is still in the clubhouse. LeBron James has taken that era and made it his own. He's become a leader in the superteam movement that started at Michigan, where he, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have all joined together.

He is a very popular athlete and he has a lot of influence on young kids and adults across the country. He has a huge following and is constantly sharing his message of love and giving on social media.

He is a fan of Ohio State and has visited the stadium on numerous occasions. Earlier this fall, he gifted the Buckeyes custom Beats by Dre headphones that look just like the ones on their helmets. And he has been known to give gifts to players prior to games, too.

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis was not in the running for the best basketball player in the NBA but he did manage to put up a stellar year in 2017-18. He is averaging 21.6 points per game, 13.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per contest which makes him one of the league’s most efficient players. He was recently named to the All-NBA second team after finishing third in the league’s most improved player award category. He is also a fan favorite, as he is known for his grit and determination on the court.

The best way to show your support for this all-star is by getting yourself the latest and greatest from the team store at Michigan Basketball. In fact, you can even get your hands on a set of custom Anthony Davis emblazoned jerseys. You can get them in a variety of colors, sizes and styles, so you are sure to find something that suits your style and budget.

Calvin Murphy

When most Norwalk basketball fans are asked who the greatest player in Norwalk High School history was, they'll probably mention Calvin Murphy. He's an NBA Hall of Famer, a College All-American, and one of the best ever from Norwalk.

The shortest NBA player, he was a superstar in his heyday, even setting NBA records for free-throw percentage and consecutive made free throws. He played for the Houston Rockets and became a great fan favorite.

He was a member of the 119-209 team that the Rockets won in San Diego and helped make the franchise famous. He joined the Rockets in 1970, along with Rudy Tomjanovich.

During that time, the Rockets adopted their red-based color scheme and went on to win five championships. This year, the Rockets are celebrating their 55th anniversary with a green-and-gold color scheme that pays homage to the team's first season in San Diego.

According to the team's website, this look is also a nod to a few San Diego-era stars like Elvin Hayes and Calvin Murphy who memorably donned green and gold during their playing career. The Rockets debuted their new Hardwood Classic edition uniforms at halftime of Friday's game against Indiana, which included the jersey retirement ceremony for Hayes.
