Spiriva is a brand of handheld bronchodilator device that delivers measured doses of Tiotropium with each inhalation.

Spiriva generic Tiotropium inhaler is a preventative and maintenance treatment used to relieve chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis. It prevents bronchospasm or the narrowing of the airways by relaxing the muscles in the lungs, thus increasing the airflow and making breathing easier. The regular use of Spiriva also reduces the frequency and intensity of COPD flare-ups or COPD exacerbations.

Generic Spiriva inhaler is not a treatment for COPD flare-ups or sudden onset symptoms. Therefore, it should not be used as a rescue drug. You must seek medical attention or speak to your doctor for immediate relief.

Do not use more than one capsule per use.
