Ocean Jasper – The Rarest of All Jaspers

Ocean Jasper – The Rarest of All Jaspers
1 min read

Ocean Jasper is known by many names – Cellular Jasper, Ocean Orbicular Jasper, and Atlantis Stone. It has been documented that ocean jasper was found in the early 1920s. However, it was lost to the world for about 75 years. In 1997, the intrepid Paul Obenich rediscovered ocean jasper along the coasts of Madagascar. Ocean jasper is one of the many varieties of jasper. It also supports the solar plexus chakra by strengthening the wearer’s confidence. In order for you to clean your piece of ocean jasper and renew its energy, soak it in a glass bowl of sea salt water, and leave it overnight. In the morning, rinse off the salt with cool, running water. As an alternative, you can leave your ocean jasper jewelry buried in dry salt for a week before rinsing it cautiously.
