Speaking with a counsellor or therapist about your feelings can help you cope with feelings of loneliness. If you're worried about money, there are free counselling services available to assist you.

The Samaritans helpline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and you can contact them about anything that's bothering you - no matter how big or small you believe the problem is - they're here to help.

If you are concerned that you are developing a mental health problem, you should seek the advice and support of your primary care physician as soon as possible. If you are in distress and require immediate assistance and are unable to see your GP, you should go to your nearest A&E.
