As such, these problems lead us to find solutions - and not just any solutions but new and unique ideas that will change the way we have viewed medical solutions in the past. What we need are people like Dr. David Douglas to lead the way to the revolution of the medical industry.
Dr.David Douglas is considered to be a highly reputable medical professional in the medical industry - holding a B.S. in physics, an M.D., an M.P.H. in Epidemiology, and is a triple board certified in diagnostic radiology, neuroradiology, and nuclear medicine. In addition to that, he is also known for being one of the few neuroradiologist-nuclear medicine physicians across the globe.
Some of his many medical practices include performing more than 600 interventional radiology procedures on the brain, neck, face, spine, torso, and more. He has also performed over 250,000 interpretations of M.R.I. scans, C.T. scans, P.E.T. scans, and x-ray examinations that involve diagnosing conditions that are related to issues with the brain.
Dr. Douglas co-founded the Red Impact - a non-profit dedicated to maternal and fetal health. The company centers its expertise on delivering more comprehensive care by training and equipping Ugandan midwives with ultrasound, training midwives on Helping Babies Survive (H.B.S.), and on Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO).
Moreover, he also plays the role of an effective educational leader - teaching and mentoring dozens of medical students, fellows, and residents who are aspiring to start their careers within the medical sector. For example, he primarily worked with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and has served as a member of the Brain Imaging Counsel (B.I.C.). Additionally, he has co-authored a joint European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM)-SNMMI practice guideline for dopaminergic imaging in Parkinsonian syndromes.
