There are already a lot of fantastic Minecraft mods to be found online, which completely overhaul everything from the sandbox's exploration to its resource automaton and there's a third to add to the list that will let you put together an actual working PC in-game. With a case, working components, ISO imports, and everything else. And, of course, the chance to play Doom in Minecraft.

"Order yourself computer parts from a satellite orbiting your Minecraft world to build a computer that actually works!" the VM Computers mod's creator Delta2force announces on its page at Minecraft modding site CurseForge. Roof info According to the site it appears that you can order your dream (virtual Minecraft) PC's component parts separately by creating an "ordering tablet" in the crafting menu, and then wait for a satellite - which "orbits the Minecraft world five times per day" and appears overhead.

The moderator said that the menus are packed with information, and you'll be able order items quickly. After you have placed your order and received your goods then you'll need to create an virtual drive and begin importing ISOs and setting up a case and using your computer's blocky model.

It's important to note, however that since the mod runs on a VM which means it'll be using CPU, space, and RAM from your real PC.

Here's a video of the mod in action, showing the tiny virtual PC doing everything a larger PC could do, including fire up Microsoft Paint and even play Doom:

I created a Minecraft mod with which you can build computers that work as virtual machines, which means they're actually real computers. You can buy computer components through space using a tablet. From gaming

If you're looking to download the mod visit its website here. Be sure to take a note of the modder's instructions as well as advice (particularly their note on possible effects on VirtualBox settings) and, as always modify at your own risk!
