This Zelda Breath of the Wild Mod For Minecraft Completely Hyrules

3 min read

The stunning and beautiful landscapes of Breath of the Wild are such a great match for Minecraft that someone built the entire BOTW map in the past year, but it was just a starting point. A second group of modders added some Zelda gameplay to the map with a Sheikah slate and all its features, including a boomerang and Sheikah towers. You can give the creepers you hate the sound of their exploding efforts to experience the torture by using Link's remote detonator bombs.

As spotted by PCGamesN As reported by PCGamesN, the Breath of the Wild datapack was developed by modders Craiy and Joris and is quite cool.

The most obvious things you'll see in your Minecraft world are the common Bokoblin camps that are scattered throughout the landscape. There are also the rarer Sheikah Towers designed to look like the giant spires Link climbs across Hyrule. While fighting Bokoblins is a great starting point, you should also be able to take their Boko Stick clubs. However your next priority should be crafting ladders and climbing to the top of a Sheikah Tower. This is where you'll find the ancient Sheikah multi-tool of destruction and be able to start wreaking havoc.

You can pick up and move blocks of metal like iron or copper using the magnesis function.

It would be very interesting to build a floating water base that is only accessible to cryonis icepillars. I tried channeling Link by dropping iron blocks on top of bokoblins but they just sped through them and land on their own. Don't think I didn't try to give them hell.

The boomerang, hero's tunic , and hero's tunic aren't common but they're worth trying to find. Craiy explains everything and more in the mod show video below.

The current version is compatible with Minecraft 1.19. However, Craiy claims that they are working on a new version of the BOTW Datapack.
I'm The Great Wizard

The person who created the previous year's Breath of Wild map decided not to make it available to download. Instead, keep an eye on the one being worked on by Grazzy, which is what Craiy and Joris used to present their datapack. You might not want to use them together since Grazzy is creating Sheikah towers on his own and the BOTW datapack generates them. You could even mix your Zeldas and the Wind Waker style that you can find on our top Minecraft texture packs.
