The Trump administration has reached a deal with the American manufacturer to buy 3M N95 Mask in Canada online to allow the company to continue exporting respirators made in the United States and to import more than 166 million of them from China over the course of the next three months.

The prime minister stated, "There are very productive conversations ongoing, and we expect those shipments to be delivered."
Trudeau stated that François-Philippe Champagne, the foreign minister, had earlier spoken with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; however, he declined to provide any additional information regarding the stalled shipment.
