This Minecraft Mario mod changes the normal mob into enemies from the Mario series and isn't only restricted to Nintendo consoles. Official Mario DLC packs have existed, but they were only available on Nintendo consoles.
RaineyX A Minecraft YouTuber, decided that they wanted to develop the mod after being inspired by the Mario Kart mod that we published last month. Love Modders make use of software to alter the models and then release them back into nature. You can watch their video about it. If you want to actually download the mod, they've got an address to their own Discord in the description, and you can go there to download the mod itself.
While the mod won't alter the behavior of the affected Minecraft mobs it is still a nice visual effect. It's a great illustration of how you can play Minecraft as a game, provided you have the necessary skills. This is likely the reason why there are so many awesome Minecraft mods. It's a pity that Nintendo does not like PC gamers a little bit more, however, because proper DLC packs would be wonderful.

You only have to take a look at the new Spellcraft DLC to discover the possibilities with Minecraft. It's a blank slate with endless possibilities, and you know Nintendo could do more with it. It's likely not going to happen anytime soon, though.
