Once the IPO is launched, anyone can buy and sell those shares. Also, a sizable amount is required to invest in an IPO as you bid for shares in bulk. Though it may be a good idea to be an initial investor in a good company, some experts also suggest investing in a newly listed company only after it gets tested in the stock market. They can also invest their money in the stocks that already have a proven track record and history.
