What shampoo to choose according to your hair type

Hair is an integral part of our appearance. Their quality and structure depend on the person's age, way of life, and the time of year; for this, different care is required for each type of hair. The right shampoo can make them look rich and shiny and boost the scalp's health.

Normal hair

Normal hair is neither too dry nor too oily, and sebum levels are balanced, naturally protecting the hair. It is soft to the touch, easy to untangle, does not electrify, and generally does not present any particular problems. However, it needs protection to stay healthy and shiny. Choose a shampoo for normal hair, the corresponding conditioner, and a hair mask for periodic use.

Oily hair

Oily hair is caused by the production of an excessive amount of sebum, which may be due to heredity, unhealthy eating habits or insufficient care. Oily hair looks heavy and limp and tends to stick together, creating unsightly clumps. The solution is frequent washing with lukewarm water and gentle shampoo for oily hair that does not irritate or dry the scalp and, at the same time, prevents excessive sebum production. The right shampoo has a light form and a soothing effect, while if you don't have time to wash your hair as often as needed, you can use dry shampoos.

Dry hair

Heredity, nutritional deficiency and certain medications do not allow the scalp to produce sufficient natural oils and retain moisture reserves, resulting in dry hair. Dry hair is brittle and dull and characterized by a lack of shine and roughness, while it tangles easily, is difficult to comb and loses its natural elasticity. The solution lies in a shampoo for dry hair that prepares the hair fibres for the uptake of active substances, strengthens the upper layer's cohesion and replenishes the hair's natural building block. If you have dry hair, it is good to limit blow-drying and use a nourishing and moisturizing conditioner with the shampoo.

Hair loss

Hair loss is genetic and can be caused by heredity, stress, hormonal imbalance, or vitamin deficiency. However, it can also be a seasonal phenomenon or simply an indication of using the wrong hair products. Because hair is fragile, nourishing and repairing shampoos that stimulate the activity of the hair roots and help increase the volume and density of the hair are recommended.

 Dandruff and dry skin

Dandruff is caused by excessive sebum secretion on the skin and is characterized by greasy flakes with a grey or yellowish colour. Dry skin is caused by loss of moisture from the scalp and is characterized by small white and dry flakes. It is usually accompanied by irritation and creates an itching sensation that can often affect a person's self-confidence. Proper care can be done with shampoo for damaged hair that reduces excessive flaking and gently cleanses, enhancing scalp microcirculation.

Depending on your hair type, you can choose the right product that will help it. So, if you have curly hair with coarse hair, a moisturizing shampoo is right for you, while for curly hair that frizzes, go for a curling shampoo. Damaged, coloured and weak hair needs a straightening shampoo with protein, while a balancing shampoo is ideal for hair without too much dryness or oiliness. Finally, for flatter hair, choose a volumizing shampoo.

Hair is a vital part of every woman's style and beauty, so choosing the suitable shampoos that will highlight it, depending on the hair type and scalp, makes it shiny, strong and healthy.
