Heathrow is one of London’s busiest and most flourishing airports, home to 1,227 hectares of land, over 72.3 million passengers each year and over 1,290 flights every day. Due to its size and the 80 airlines operating here, flying to over 185 destinations, it’s one of the UK’s largest and most active airports and a popular choice for passengers flying not only outbound but inbound from across the globe. If you’re travelling to Heathrow airport, here is our guide to help you.

TRAVELLING TO AND FROM HEATHROW

There are a number of ways to travel to and from Heathrow airport dependant on the method that will suit you and your travel companions best. These include:

  • WOKING AIRPORT TAXI HIRE

At MiCabi, we offer affordable, yet comfortable airport taxi hire to and from Heathrow Airport, from destinations across Surrey, including Woking, Guildford, Camberley, Ascot and more. By hiring a Woking taxi, you’ll get door-to-door travel in a comfortable vehicle dependant on the number of passengers travelling and the luggage that you’ll be taking. This offers the convenience and comfort of travelling to the airport without the stress of securing parking at the airport or battling with public transport.

  • DRIVE AND PARK

If you’d prefer to drive yourself, Heathrow does offer their own official parking provider. Prices can be subject to change the later you leave it to book and while parking is secure, your car will be left at your own risk while you’re abroad.

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT

There are a number of public transport links available, including the Heathrow Express train from London Paddington, Rail-Air bus links throughout Reading, Woking and Watford Junction, and the Piccadilly Underground Line from London.

Heathrow is home to four different terminals, numbered 2-5. They are as follows:
