Brontosauruses, also known as diplodocus, were herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Jurassic Period. They had long necks and tails, and relatively small heads, which they used to browse on vegetation such as ferns, conifers, and cycads. They had peg-like teeth that were adapted for grinding and crushing plant material, and their powerful hind legs allowed them to move around to find more food.
