What is ACCA Financial Reporting (F3)?
Financial Reporting (F3) refers to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, which assesses the ability of students to prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Overview
The aim of the ACCA F3 exam is to test your ability to use internal accounting techniques. Throughout this financial accounting course, you will be taught basic financial principles and regulations.
You will develop knowledge and skills in understanding and applying accounting standards and their theoretical framework in the preparation of financial statements of double entities, including groups, and how to analyze and interpret those financial statements. Reflect on your ACCA progress.
- Section A will contain 35 two mark papers.
- Section B will contain two fifteen mark Multi task questions.
- One will test consolidation, and the other will test account preparation.
ACCA F3 exams start in March and September. The exam is computer-based, and students are allowed to use calculators during exams. The passing marks are 50%.
