Applications Open for 2nd artBIAS — Don’t Miss Out

If you have been looking for physical exhibition opportunities, the artBIAS in Budapest may be the perfect choice for you. Going to be held in the heart of Europe, this art show is claimed to be one of a kind. It’s a blend of art from every corner of the world, fervor from artists, spectrums of creativity, and the local culture of Hungary. All of it combined creates the perfect stage for every artist to present their work.

What is artBIAS?

The Budapest International Art Show (artBIAS) is a result of the great initiative from the TERAVARNA Art Gallery. The show is co-sponsored by them in close cooperation with the Golden Duck Gallery. This grand celebration of art shall take place at the premises of the Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest Hungary. The show starts on the 4th of June, 2024, and shall run for a little over a month till the 6th of July 2024. The Gala Opening is set to be conducted on the 7th of June from 18:00 onwards. The visitors shall get a chance to witness and purchase marvelous 2D and 3D visual artworks from artists across the globe.

How To Apply

To be eligible to exhibit at artBIAS, artists need to undergo a jurying process. The application for jurying is already open and the deadline to send in your submissions is 15th April 2024. Artists are welcome to submit 2D and 3D visual artworks ranging from painting, sculpture, pottery, digital art, installation art, photographs, graphic designs, and even mixed media. You can follow the following steps to submit your work.

• Visit the official TERAVARNA website to make your submissions.
• Click clear images of the artwork that you want to submit.
• Submit your artwork and make the final payment. The total amount shall change based on the number of submissions.

As this is just a jurying round, artists do not need to send physical shipments of their work. However, once a work gets selected, artists shall be informed and they will have the choice to either ship their original work or request giclee for the same. The submission charges for the jurying are $20 per artwork.

The result of the jurying shall be conveyed to artists via email.

The start of artBIAS — History and Relevance

artBIAS was launched in the year 2023 with the joint efforts of TERAVARNA Art Gallery and the Golden Duck Gallery. The show intended to bring together art from different countries and place them together on a world-class platform. The first artBIAS received over a thousand submissions from artists in every corner of the world. However, to present only the crème de la crème, the jurors had to make a tough choice. They conducted two rounds of thorough jurying to find the best artwork from all the applications. They selected 77 artists from 31 countries who got the opportunity to present their work at the show.

About TERAVARNA — The Organizing Gallery

The TERAVARNA Art Gallery is a digital contemporary gallery based out of Los Angeles California. It has been organizing shows, participating in art fairs and exhibitions, and conducting art competitions to promote artists at multiple levels. The gallery also gives out artist grants to support artists in pursuing their passion.
