• The weather in Mecca is extremely hot in summer. Make sure the clothing is made of breathable fabric.
• Bring at least three sets of Abayas, since they will be worn multiple times and get dirty or ripped.
• White colour may appear slightly transparent in the sun, exposing the body. Therefore, it is crucial to make sure that the attire’s fabric is thick enough to prevent any exposure.
• If a woman chooses to wear a white Abaya, she must also wear white socks, underwear, and a hijab.
