  2. Click on the Globe icon and ensure that the security setting is not set to more than Medium High, followed by selecting the Connections tab.
  3. Select the Never Dial a Connection option, and from the UAN tab, select the Automatically Detect Settings option and deselect the Use a Proxy Server checkbox.
  4. Add your address and select the Port Number to ensure that it is set as 80, followed by selecting the Advanced tab and clicking the Restore Advanced Settings option.
  5. Now, select the Use TLS 1.2 checkbox and exit Internet Explorer to restart Windows and try running the payroll updates in QB again. 

Solution 2 – Reset the Internet Update Settings from the Update Now Tab
