Recovering from Covid-19 as a Brand
Our business literally stopped because everyone started laying off talent let alone hiring them. For initial 3 months in Covid, we were all working from home and did nothing but worked for charitable costs. Salaries were a challenge to release but we were hopeful better times would come.
We created a free access Google drive for Employers where they could access and immediately hire unemployed staff for full-time/part time work. We emailed it to 1000+ companies. It brought such a relief that at least we were very contributing. The drive was such a hit that hundreds of unemployed engineers got jobs and it Got featured in the main page of Pakistan Software Exchange board
To the Road ahead
Just after the hiring crisis, things started coming super back to normal when companies accepted remote culture. They opened jobs from all over Pakistan – work from home. It became easier to fill talent in less time hence we started accommodating more queries.
It was then when international clients reached us and wanted to hire remote Engineers from Pakistan. We founded REMIRE – a Platform that supports international payroll and management to facilitate these companies. Everything’s been super smooth since then
