How to Fix QuickBooks Errors?
4 min read

Are there any links to descriptions of Quickbooks error code (what they are, how to fix them)?

In the days before dinosaurs roamed the earth, there were things called software manuals that described the functionality of the product and explained error codes in detail.

"Error codes" or "Error code list" are too much for Intuit's search to comprehend. Same for "Error 165" or "Error 292".

On our Rebuild report, I noticed a number of errors. Clicking on "See Online Article" takes one to the page "Small Business Answers and Information has moved".

After clicking the next link, one is taken to a generic support page. Searching there does not reveal anything either.

Doesn't anyone at Intuit actually use their own software and see this stuff? How hard would it be to have a list of error codes and their meanings?

Dear Support people: Please do not post a reply that tells me to contact Support. I shouldn't have to call just to see a list of error codes. Please provide a link of error codes instead of telling me to call. Also, support can't handle anything other than the most basic issues.
