About the Position:
- Provide essential hands-on care to patients with diverse medical and mental health needs, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nurses promptly.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
- Assist with transferring and positioning patients with respect and care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification in California.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport and trust with patients.
- Strong empathy and a patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing individual needs and dignity.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating seamlessly with healthcare professionals.
- BLS certification required.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients with assistance.
