Microsoft's mobile AR title Minecraft Earth is following the lead of Pokemon Go by introducing new features that make it easier to play at home during the outbreak of coronavirus. Since you'll have the ability to access "tappables" which are resources like grass, stones and livestock, more frequently, and they'll be closer to you, you'll have more access to these resources. Also, Minecraft Earth has introduced "adventure crystals" that allow you to create adventures in the exact location you are, so you'll no longer need to go out and search for them.

Tappables are more prevalent in @minecraftearth. They also have higher density. You can also gather Adventure crystals to create Adventures from your home. MINECRAFT-SERVERS Have you played it yet?

- Aubrey Norris (@Chupacaubrey) March 25, 2020 The AR game, similar to Pokemon Go, is designed to be used in the real world, something that's impossible in California and many other countries at the moment. Recent changes made by Niantic were designed to make the game more accessible for players at home. They launched 100 Poke Ball bundle, which costs 1 PokeCoin and an ongoing 1 PokeCoin bundle that will change every week. Additionally, it increased the amount of daily bonuses and increased the number of rewards available per day to 30.

According to the Minecraft Earth team, these features were designed in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (Center for Disease Control) regarding the need to avoid public areas and gatherings of more than 10 people. Other new features include an increase in the level cap and Bone Spiders Skeletons, Dark Forest buildplates, Tropical Slime mobs, and the Iron Furnace Golem protector.
