Minecraft players love an enjoyable recreation. Sometimes it's a location, like an exact replica of the Stranger Things house, and sometimes it's far more complex, like the people who recreated Elden Ring in the Sandbox game. MINECRAFT SERVERS This time it's an Minecraft Ghostbusters recreation, except it's more of a musical version.

Raevix on Reddit posted a video in which she asks an easy question "Who You Gonna Call?" We all know the answer - nobody will call, texting is much easier. This is clearly a reference to Ghostbusters and Raevix showed off an incredibly complex and impressive music system made from Redstone that plays the movie's classic theme tune.

3k Notes, 2:40 mins of music, One heaping pile of redstone spaghetti. Who Are You Going to Call? from Minecraft

The whole thing is a testimony to not only the sheer brilliance of both the song and Redstone however, but also the absurd level of patience Raevix must have. It is enough to make anyone cry in the corner. But to persevere and test it hundreds of times to find the right answer must have been agonising.

As Raevix explains in her blog in her blog, the 3000 notes needed for this would be way too much for a linear circuit, so they had to get creative. "It occurred to me there's enough repetition in the song that I might be able to cut down on space by breaking the song down into loops and creating an electronic circuit that gradually activates loops and then deactivates them to create the entire song."

While this version of it was developed in a creative manner it is now aspired to go into survival mode and build it again. You can download the world file to see it in action. You may not need to, of course, since you've got it permanently in your head now you know?
