Minecraft's Spongebob Squarepants DLC is upon us, and brings with it a variety of skins as well as classic Bikini Bottom locations, and a good excuse to see how outrageous the Spongebob model appears. There's been a ton of fun DLC for Minecraft recently. But it's hard to not get caught in the nostalgia.
The trailer showcases everything beautifully, with Bikini Bottom in full view and the iconic background of strange floating flowers in the sky or sea. It seems like there are plenty of different activities to enjoy in the area, from exploring caves, to racing around in a burger-mobile or just chilling on an incline rollercoaster. The pack also comes with forty skins that can be purchased on the Minecraft Marketplace for 1340 coins.
Spark Universe is the creators of this DLC. They've also developed other products like the YouTube Creators Skin Pack and a Monsters++ Pack that adds classic monsters like dragons and whatnot. Official DLC packs have become extremely popular recently, especially when they released Spellcraft DLC for free just a few weeks ago.

While there are many players who prefer to stay away from official issues and stick to mods, it's nice to see Minecraft being accepted from every angle. That being said, the modding scene has been amazing recently. Immersive Portals allow for impossible level design, while the Mi Alliance mod lets you manage your own army.
