Astroneer, an exploration game for space that has gained a significant following in its Early Access stage. After hinting at it in the past, the game has finally got an official release date. The game will be released on Xbox One and Windows 10 starting on February 6, 2019. It will cost $29.99 at launch.
If you aren't one of the two million players to take a crack at the early stages version of Astroneer Here's what you can expect the interplanetary survival sandbox game is an interesting mix of Minecraft and the other space exploration game No Man's Sky. In Astroneer you're a space explorer trying to survive and thrive in the treacherous terrain. Extremecraft You'll discover resources as explore the solar system's uncharted planets. These resources can be used to build bases, construct vehicles as well as conduct research. Astroneer will support crossplay between Xbox One and PC adventurers and will provide dedicated servers that allow players to build and explore at the same time.
The pre-release version of the game is still available from Steam Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview for $19.99. In preparation for the launch, the price will be increased to $29.99 on November 16. If you get in before the deadline, you'll be rewarded with a "Retro" suit to show you were an early supporter.
