Are you feeling hopeless about your phone battery? Your phone battery draining fast? We know the reasons. There are many reasons why your phone battery is draining fast. In this article we will discuss why your phone battery is draining so fast.

A battery is one of the most important components for any electronics device. It provides power to the device and allows it to function. Without a battery, most devices would not be able to operate.

Why is My Phone Battery Draining Fast?

There are a few things you can do to help extend your phone battery life. And we will find the problems first then you will know how to fix it also.

Overusing a phone:

One reason is that you may be using your phone too much. If you are constantly checking your email, browsing the web, or playing games on your phone, then it is likely to drain the battery quickly.

Your phone's battery will drain faster if it is connected to the internet all the time, which will result in notifications, messages, and calls.

You may turn off your phone when sleeping to give him a little rest. However, if you are afraid to miss important calls or messages then you can consider the “Do not disturb” mood.

Phone Display Brightness:

Once, my girlfriend asked me if I could reduce the brightness if the electricity bills were so high.  The brightness on our phones helps us, but if we plan to spend a lot of time outdoors, we should lower the brightness. Battery life is greatly affected by it.

In the dark or at night, you can also lower the phone's brightness. In addition to saving your phone's battery, it will also save your eyesight.

Depending on your phone, you can lower the brightness in settings or by swiping up.

Background Apps:

It's easy to forget that our smartphones are essentially small computers that need to be managed in order to preserve battery life and extend the overall life of the device.

When you're not using them directly, it may help you stay connected by running useful apps in the background. If you have a lot of apps running in the background or if your screen is turned on all of the time, this will also drain your battery more quickly. Try turning off some of those apps or dimming your screen when you're not using it in order to conserve energy and extend the life of your battery.

Faulty Battery:

Your phone's battery life can be affected not only by apps or settings, but also by the phone's battery itself. Batteries naturally lose capacity as they age, and this can affect your phone’s battery life.

If you are using an iPhone then you can check battery health from Settings > Battery > Battery Health and you can see the battery capacity.

When operated under normal conditions, a normal battery retains up to 80% of its original capacity after 500 full charge cycles. Therefore, it's normal for your phone's battery capacity to decrease after 500 full charges. However, that doesn't mean you have to change your phone battery right away.

If you have a rapidly draining battery on your smartphone, you should consider phone battery replacement. This is usually cheaper than replacing your entire phone and can resolve your problem faster and easier. However, Your phone's battery price will vary depending on its model.

Location Tracking Apps:

In today's world, most apps track our location to provide us with better services. Apple maps, Google Maps, News apps, Dating apps and lots more.

Consider turning off the GPS or location service if you're not using these apps. The battery life of your phone will be extended and the battery will last longer.

Dual Apps:

Most Android phones have dual app support, which allows you to login to two different accounts using the same app. For example, you can use two different WhatsApp accounts on the same phone. This is a great feature if you need to keep track of multiple accounts or if you want to have separate work and personal profiles on your phone.

However, dual apps do take up more space on your phone and they can also make your phone run slower. So if you're not regularly using two different accounts on your phone, it might be better to disable the dual app feature.

How to Fix Phone Battery Draining Fast

The battery life of your phone can be extended by doing a number of things. Here are a few important things I want to discuss.

Check Which App Using more Battery:

It's always a good idea to check which apps are using more battery on your phone. This way, you can take steps to improve your phone's battery life. One way to do this is by force-closing apps that you aren't using. Another way is to shop for the app that uses the most battery and see if there is an alternative that uses less.

Use Original Charger:

What charger should you use? The one that came with your phone of course!

Charging your phone with the original charger will help keep its battery healthy. Over time, using a different charger can cause damage to your battery and reduce its lifespan. So stick with the original and you'll be good to go!

Avoid Super Charging:

It's a common misconception that using a fast charger for your phone will damage the battery. In fact, most phones are designed to work more effectively with a particular type of charger. So if you have a newer phone, it's best to use the charger that came with it rather than trying to supercharge it with an after-market option.

Conclusion:

After reading this article, you may have a few ideas about how to solve the phone battery draining fast issue. One thing you can do is uninstall apps that you don't use often. You can also turn off features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when you're not using them. If your phone has a power saving mode, be sure to enable it when your battery starts to run low. Finally, if all else fails, consider buying a new battery for your phone!
