That's the question I've been asking myself for the last two months since I began with my daughter's tablet that had all the Youtube channels specially created for babies. According to certain sources, they help babies grow, improve cognitive, and other functions. They also encourage the development of mental and social skills. It is true that I can observe my daughter enjoying the show, she is watching it with smiles bursting, eyes shining, and giggles waiting to fly off her lips, I love watching her get entertained. However, I'm not able to understand all the commercials. My child isn't a consumer, why do you insist on pushing sometimes not even baby-like advertisements on my child, YouTube?

First of all, infants aren't able to comprehend commercials. This is a total waste of money and also a waste of resources, not to mention the time and effort spent creating and playing this commercial advertisement (video) to a child.. They aren't understanding! It's impossible to say they can comprehend, so why do you insist on showing them those advertisements? Is that in case mother or father, or perhaps other baby care workers are watching, they'll be able to benefit from the ads? This is getting frustrating for me.

Similar to cat videos. Recently, I realized that my cat likes these cat videos that are captivating. Usually it's some mice or birds however the main thing is that my cat watches them and isn't moving for long... Hunting is what I think. These videos are always interrupted by ads. Who is it they are trying to sell? My cat has no interest in anything other than those videos. To her, ads are irrelevant. Maybe they're hoping that my cat is watching the videos? They could be right in part. There are times when I find myself watching silly videos for cats while playing with my cat.

So I came across a fantastic solution I've been using recently. It's as easy as downloading Youtube videos to my computer or my daughter's tablet and then playing them from there. What do I mean? This site allows me to store video on my own computer and not have it transferred to Youtube whenever my cat is interested in watching birds. Now I double-click this mp4 file on my desktop. VLC plays it instantly and there are no ads.

This is the same for all videos for babies and channels. I simply search for the videos my daughter likes to watch, download them from Youtube to my desktop , and then transfer them to her tablet. Sometimes, it's only 1-2 songs. If the videos are large they are copied to her tablet. However it's much simpler to access this site straight from my desktop. https://writeablog.net/coppernation9/dont-forget-to-remember-where-we-came-from Perhaps it's just me, being an old-fashioned.

This technique actually proved to be an excellent way to save mobile data. Until the downloading of videos from Youtube became a reality I had to keep my tablet hooked up to the internet via hotspot on my phone or sometimes I'd have the option of a separate data plan specifically for the tablet when we would go far for an excursion.. Data is extremely expensive when you're traveling with it... This is why my usage of data dropped 3-4 times, now we were able to roll over a small amount of data for the following months. This was a total bizarre surprise for us, usually we'd pay for exceeding our monthly allowance three or four times.. This is why I suggest to all parents of young children and cat owners who love their pets: get your videos downloaded from Youtube and other sites to your device, save them in mp4 file format and enjoy them at any time without additional data usage.

I'm thrilled that you enjoyed my tricks and tips for data and Internet rich households. It sounds silly, I know.
