Who are the Challengers of the Unknown?

The Challengers of the Unknown are a group of adventurers created by Jack Kirby and first appeared in Showcase #6 in 1957. The team consists of four individuals who survived a plane crash and decide to dedicate their lives to exploring the unknown and facing danger head-on. The original team consisted of Ace Morgan, Red Ryan, Rocky Davis, and Prof Haley. They often face impossible odds and supernatural threats while exploring new parts of the world. They were also one of the first superhero teams to not have any superpowers, relying solely on their wits and physical abilities.
