5 types of marketing funnels that will increase your revenue

The marketing funnel is the process of attracting, converting, closing, and delighting potential customers through different stages. A marketing funnel can either be realized or not depending on how it has been designed.

The key steps in the marketing funnel are; 

Prior to designing the marketing funnel, there are five steps to follow for it to be effective.

1) Define your product or service

To start with I will give you an example of what happened when I tried to design a marketing funnel that did not have the above-mentioned points in place. My company was into installation work and I wanted to employ people who were good in finance to facilitate the financial part of my business (Bennett, 2018). I approached a lady with qualifications in accounting and economics for this position without clarifying whether she had worked before or not. 

She agreed with me on the terms of employment; however, when it came to joining dates she was not available. I was not prepared for this situation and it took me a while to find someone else with the same qualifications. 

Creating your product or service entails more than just creating an item or offering a service (Davidson, 2018). For example, I am into writing and I want to sell my services as a content writer but firstly, I have to identify the target market for my products, whether they are novels or research papers. 

I have to study their needs so that I can determine how I am going to reach them through different marketing channels, either online or offline. Research shows that not having a clear understanding of your product or service leads to failure.

2) Design the funnel system

The purpose of creating a marketing funnel is to attract, convert, and delight customers from one stage to another. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to design your sales funnels well. Most companies always go through different stages when designing their sales funnels for instance; I have used Google for research for this paper. Google has created different marketing channels to ensure that they get the most out of their marketing funnels; one of them is the Ad words Customer Match. 

The purpose of this marketing channel is to reach out to customers who have email accounts with specific companies targeted by the business owners. This means that business owners can create their own marketing funnels and reach out to customers who have shown interest in their products. 

You need to design different stages of your funnel in such a way that; you attract potential clients, convert them into clients, and make them loyal and satisfied. To ensure that my funnel is effective I will ensure that my initial offer is attractive and highly value-driven. I will also check on the different marketing channels that I am using to ensure that every customer goes through every stage of the funnel.

3) Create a good first impression

It is important for you to make your customers feel like they are special as soon as they land on your page. If you are marketing your products or services on social media platforms, have a clear profile picture and some good quality videos of your product in action. This will help to gain the trust of your potential customers.

te that has proper navigation is very important for me in order to entice customers. As a home security expert in London, I have developed a website that has proper navigation between the homepage and other contents on my website.

4) Notifications/ Reminders

In marketing, it is important for you to remind your customers of their purchase so as not to lose them. I have learned that it is important to send my clients notifications on their packages or products so that they are reminded of what I have promised them. 

This will give me an opportunity to inquire if there were any hitches with the delivery and also provide additional information about how I can upgrade their homes in case they want to stay in London for a long time.

5) Rewards and loyalty programs

It is important for me to design a rewards and loyalty program that will ensure that my customers remain loyal to my business. I have determined that the best way to do this is by providing discounts to buyers who make regular purchases. This will help them feel appreciated and understand that I am ready to go the extra mile to make them happy. 

I will also provide ongoing training for my staff to see if they are up-to-date with the ongoing changes in the industry. I have learned that when there are promotions, it is important for me to identify the best time to send out notifications so that clients are reminded to take advantage of the offers.

Conclusion:

I have come up with excellent strategies that will help me to market my products or services online. I am pretty sure that the strategies will benefit my business greatly since they are easy and do not require much time.
