• Candidates must have at least 50% in Class 12 to be considered.
• Candidates for teaching in Classes 1 to 5 must have completed or be in the last year of either a two-year diploma in elementary education or a four-year bachelor's degree in elementary education.
• Candidates for teaching positions in Classes 6 to 9 should have a two-year diploma in elementary education, a one-year B.Ed., or a four-year BElED.
