Intuitive Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate psychiatrist to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals-Coalinga. About the Position:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medication, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in psychiatric treatment.
- Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Active medical license in California
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- DEA license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a state hospital or forensic psychiatry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
