GAN 13 is the new flagship cube from one of the world's most popular speed cube manufacturers. It comes loaded with tons of features that are sure to improve your solving experience.

The magnetic levitation system allows for extremely fast operation and precise control. It also provides the most stable hand feel.

Features

GAN 13 is the flagship cube from one of the most popular speedcube manufacturers, and it’s packed full of advanced features. It features Maglev resistance reduction, improved corner cutting, enhanced core positioning, and a revolutionary new edge magnet system.

GAN also incorporated a number of smart design choices to improve the solver experience. For example, you can adjust how loose or tight the centers should be during a solve by adjusting a setting called “center travel” (clicks heard as you turn). You can do this by lifting the plastic caps over the center pieces and turning them with your finger.

The UV Coated version of GAN 13 is a premium edition with a beautiful finish and a slightly different feel to the solved cube. It also comes with the bag and storage box, cube adjustment tool, and a tutorial on learning the CFOP solution method. This cube does not have adjustable magnet strength, so it’s a little cheaper than the FX version.

Design

The GAN 13 M MagLev is the newest flagship 3x3 from Gan Cube. It features a number of innovations that make it one of the most cutting-edge speedcubes on the market.

The main innovation is the Maglev technology, which uses repulsion magnets to reduce the resistance of the outer layers, allowing the cube to feel more like a floating object when turning. This also helps the cube solve more smoothly and with less spring noise.

Another exciting feature is the adjustable elasticity, center travel distance, and magnet strength, giving you 216 different possible set ups to perfectly match your personal style of solving. This is a major step up from previous GAN flagships, which only allow you to adjust the elasticity and magnet strength eight times (once per edge).

The cube comes in a stunning dark blue box, with a metal tool for adjusting the settings, as well as a clear protective cover. It also includes a collector’s card and pamphlet with instructions.

Performance

Gan 13 M MagLev is the 2022 flagship magnetic speed cube from GAN. It features advanced technology and premium performance, making it an ideal choice for serious speedcubers.

88 magnets are packed inside the MagLev, including core and edge magnets for superior magnet feel. The Maglev magnets help reduce resistance to allow for a smooth, controlled turning feel. In addition, the enhanced core positioning 3.0 system helps to ensure that each layer aligns perfectly.

The Maglev also has 6 different tension settings, allowing you to fine-tune the puzzle to your preference. This makes it easy to find a setting that suits your hand and solve style.

The cube also has a unique feel that many fans enjoy, thanks to its smooth rotation and excellent corner cutting. However, the Maglev is not a good choice for novices because it requires more force than most other GAN cubes, and you may lose control of the cube at higher speeds.

Value

GAN 13 3x3 Magnetic MagLev is the newest flagship from one of the most popular cube manufacturers in the world, and it is packed with incredible modern speedcube technology. It features a total of 88 magnets serving varying purposes, from core to MagLev and more. It also includes a variety of other new innovations such as Enhanced Core Positioning 3.0 to make the layers align more easily and MagLev resistance reduction for a frictionless feel.

All of these features add up to a superb solving experience, and it only weighs 71g, making it one of the lightest flagship 3x3s available. With 216 unique setup combinations available for fine-tuning, this is a cube that will not disappoint. This version of the GAN 13 MagLev comes in a UV stickerless edition with primary internals and is fully adjustable with spring compression, tension, and magnet strength. The original version, which was slightly less expensive, did not include magnet strength adjustability.
