About the Position:
- Provide basic nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and mental health conditions, following the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, document their condition, and report changes to RNs.
- Assist with patient hygiene, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
- Administer medications as prescribed, following proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Collect and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Contribute to a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active LVN license in California.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or psychiatric setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Knowledge of mental health principles and practices a plus.
