About the Position:
- Provide essential nursing care to patients with diverse medical and mental health needs, following the guidance of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians.
- Monitor vital signs, document patient conditions meticulously, and report changes to RNs.
- Assist patients with daily living activities like hygiene, feeding, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures with care and respect.
- Gather and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Foster a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active LVN license in California.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or psychiatric setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with patients.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, seamlessly integrating with the healthcare team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing individual needs and dignity.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Familiarity with mental health principles and practices a plus.
