About the Position:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and mental health conditions.
- Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and psychiatrists.
- Educate and counsel patients on disease management and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff in providing high-quality care.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or psychiatric setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a secure and challenging environment.
