- After logging out of QuickBooks, close your company file, and then in Windows, choose the Start button.

- In the No Company screen that appears, go to the Help menu and choose the Update QuickBooks Desktop option.
- Click the Options tab to open it; after selecting Mark All, click on Save.

- Then, shut down QBD when the updates have finished downloading.
